A ground-up, new build in Preston Hollow. We worked with the family every step of the way: reviewing plans, selecting finishes, and fully furnishing the home. Sourcing and framing vintage bathing suits for the “cabana” room was definitely a highlight of this project, as well as the “secret door” hidden in the home office bookcase.
This sprawling 17,000 square foot home in Westlake, Texas is one of our favorite projects to-date. Over three years, we took this home from architectural drawings to final styling. Our lovely clients’ trusted our vision completely, allowing us to beautifully blend their two styles – English cottage and modern. The natural light and details we designed into this home make it feel cozy and homey, despite its size. The kids’ spaces were an especial favorite of the Lark team – including, among other things, a secret room (with its own slide!), a loft, and a dreamy lavender girl’s bedroom.
